Tato bakalářská práce řeší problematiku označování paletovaného zboží před expedicí a to především pomocí automatických aplikátorů etiket. This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of label application for palletized goods before expedition, specifically by using automatic label applicators. The solution contains the evaluation of current state of labeling and recherché including applicators that are being used. The overall outcome of the thesis is a proposal of a new mechanical construction solution as well as a calculation of its expected price. The result is a summary of a current state of labeling of palletized goods. There has also been an ideal solution of labeling offered for customer- specified orders.

The thesis focuses on the staging of Soviet operettas in Czechoslovakia between 1946 and 1987. The import of the Soviet repertoire to Czechoslovak operetta theaters was linked to the cultural and political transformations at the outset of the communist regime in Czechoslovakia. The so-called Soviet socialist operetta would soon have been established as a model for new Czechoslovak operettas. As such, it became an important part of the repertoire which was influenced by the official polical system. The thesis surveys the progressing intensity of the import and the developing operetta genre in the Soviet Union. On the examples of Isaac Dunayevsky's operettas Free Wind and, more intensively, White Acacia, in comparison with the original versions of these operettas, it shows the tendencies of interpretation of Soviet operettas in Czechoslovakia, in the changing cultural and political context. The thesis also concerns the topic of critical perception in both cultural environments and, overall, it aspires to capture the examined topics in the widest possible contextual horizon.Institute of MusicologyÚstav hudební vědyFaculty of ArtsFilozofická fakult

The thesis includes description of specific measured variables including measurement methodology. There are also described principles of different measurement methods and approaches used to measure the variables. Measurement was done to find modules suited for usage in thermoelectric generator. The modules were installed onto thermoelectric generator and measurement of current-voltage curves with different states of boiler Verner A 251.1 were done.

Goal of this thesis is to specify needed upgrades of current aparatus used for measuring parameters of thermoelectic modules, witch was constructed at the Enegry institute of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology. In this theseis current state of aparatus where reviewed and specifications for updates where made. These specifications where used to create plans for new aparatus. Quality of designed aparatus where verified by simulations made in ANSYS. Plans for proposed aparatus where made.

Optimizing the total energy consumption and CO2 emissions by distributing computational workload among worldwide dispersed data centers

Major internet service providers have built and are currently building the world's largest data centres (DCs), which has already resulted in significant global energy consumption. Energy saving measures, from chip to building level, have been introduced gradually in recent decades. However, there is further potential for savings by assessing the performance of different DCs on a wider scale and evaluating information technology (IT) workload distribution strategies among these DCs. This paper proposes a methodology to optimize the electricity consumption and CO2 emissions by distributing IT workload across multiple imaginary DCs. The DCs are modelled and controlled in a virtual test environment based on a building energy simulation (BES) tool (TRNSYS). A controller tool (Matlab) is used to support testing and tuning of the optimization algorithm. A case study, consisting of the distribution of IT workload across four different types of data centers in multiple locations with different climate conditions, is presented. The case study will illustrate.</p

Hard color-singlet exchange in dijet events in proton-proton collisions at root s=13 TeV

Events where the two leading jets are separated by a pseudorapidity interval devoid of particle activity, known as jet-gap-jet events, are studied in proton-proton collisions at root s = 13 TeV. The signature is expected from hard color-singlet exchange. Each of the highest transverse momentum (p(T)) jets must have p(T)(jet) > 40 GeV and pseudorapidity 1.4 0.2 GeV in the interval vertical bar eta vertical bar < 1 between the jets are observed in excess of calculations that assume only color-exchange. The fraction of events produced via color-singlet exchange, f(CSE), is measured as a function of p(T)(jet2), the pseudorapidity difference between the two leading jets, and the azimuthal angular separation between the two leading jets. The fraction f(CSE) has values of 0.4-1.0%. The results are compared with previous measurements and with predictions from perturbative quantum chromodynamics. In addition, the first study of jet-gap-jet events detected in association with an intact proton using a subsample of events with an integrated luminosity of 0.40 pb(-1) is presented. The intact protons are detected with the Roman pot detectors of the TOTEM experiment. The f(CSE) in this sample is 2.91 +/- 0.70(stat)(-1.01)(+1.08)(syst) times larger than that for inclusive dijet production in dijets with similar kinematics.Peer reviewe
